This 1.8 ZIF 64GB MLC SSD is quiet, fast and less power consumption, which definitely does help to our environment.
This 1.8 ZIF 64GB MLC SSD is very fast. In fact, it's faster than the descriptions say it is. It served as a great upgrade to my old Inspiron laptop. I may be able to keep it a couple more years. It's as if I just got a new one!
Outstanding laptop drive, especially replacing the old 5400 rpm drive. A very cost-effective upgrade for an older system.
WOW !!! This 1.8 ZIF 64GB MLC SSD for Fujitsu Dell Laptop UMPC has breathed new life into my 5 year old Dell Inspiron 5160. Swap went fine. Imaged old drive to SSD. I had to Jumper it as a master and forgot to take the pin adaptor off the old drive. OOPS. Once I noticed the adaptor on the old drive it auto ID'd and setup fine. My laptop is faster (Win XP) than almost any laptop I have ever driven! I think boot time went from 4 to 5 minutes.. maybe longer to about 30 seconds! Word opens instantly!!!
I put this 1.8 ZIF 64GB MLC SSD into an older Dell laptop replacing a 5400rpm spindle drive, and it runs like a new PC. I installed Vista to see how it would run and decided to keep it on there. Vista is running perfectly snappy in this older laptop thanks to this hard drive. The size makes it a little prohibitive, especially for people who like to download lots of "stuff", but Vista, Office 2007, IE8, Norton Internet Security, and a host of plug-ins are running perfectly fast on this 3+ year-old laptop.
